Visitation Rules and Regulations

Before you visit:

  • The inmate must mail you an inmate visitation request form.
  • You must complete the request form and mail it back to the Correctional Center, not the inmate.
  • The person visiting must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You will be checked for warrants, fugitive from justice, and recent incarcerations.
  • The inmate will be notified of their visitors approved or disapproved status. It is the inmate's responsibility to notify you of your visiting status, approved or denied.

Children Visitation:

  • This is considered a special visit. All children's visits will be arranged through the Director of Corrections or designee at 599-2278.
  • The inmate must complete an Inmate Request Form and submit it to the Director of Corrections, requesting a special visit. Inmate must provide the name and telephone number of the person bringing in the children.
  • The Director of Corrections or designee will arrange the date and time of the special visit, if the inmate qualifies. The designee will notify the inmate if he/she was approved for a children's visit via returning the inmate request form (DCC 7).

The parent/guardian will show the video-visiting Officer a certified copy of the child/children's birth certificate and or guardianship papers. Child's ID preferred.
