Property

All personal property and clothing is taken from the inmate during admission and securely stored until the inmate's release.

• Inmates may release personal property to individuals by completing a Personal Property Release Form.
• Inmates must release all of their personal property or none of it, exceptions are made for emergency release of specific items as approved by the Records Supervisor
• Inmates may release money from their account to individuals on their approved visitor's list no more than once every seven days
• Inmates who are transferred to other detention facilities may release their personal property to individuals by completing a 30 Day Property Release Form.  This property must be picked up within 30 days of the inmate transfer. Personal property not picked up within 30 days will be disposed of or donated to charitable institutions.
